In 1997 I bought a Ford Expedition. Being 5'9" there was no way I could put my skis and bikes on the top of the SUV. At 5'1" it was out of the question for my wife.

I spent several days shopping for a hitch mounted ski rack. The racks made by all of the big manufacturers all looked chintzy. I would never trust my bike, not to mention just 2 pairs of skis worth $1800.00 in one of these flimsy ski racks.

It also seemed to be a hassle to carry bikes and then skis. Too many attachments. The racks all rattled in the hitch. I didn’t like the thought of my gear rattling around on the back going 70 down the interstate.

Most were difficult to load The final straw was after paying for the mounting part, then the bike rack, then the ski and snowboard part there was still the locks to buy. I decided I could make a better rack. I have addressed all those problems.

Our combination racks have weatherproof slam action locks and will carry skis, snowboards, and bikes at the same time with no special attachments. Our racks swing back and down for easy rear cargo access. The Combo racks are self-standing so gear can be stored in them in the garage. They all have an anti-rattle hitch and the wrench to tighten it is included. The 1/2 inch locking hitch pin and freight are include.One price buys everything. Just unwrap it and go.
