Rear Mounted Ski Rack / Bicycle Rack
RV Life Magazine
The
Back Rack carrier is a perfect mate for motorhomers. Able to carry
both bikes or skis, it is possibly the best-built receiver hitch
carrier I’ve ever seen. One unique feature is the bolt down receiver
tube that eliminates any possible rattle in the hitch. It’s the
only bike carrier I’ve seen with this feature. The powder-coated
finish should stand up to years of use and still look good. This
carrier also sits high enough so the bikes are always in view of
the rear window, a nice feeling with expensive bikes. This bike
and ski carrier is one to judge all others to.

Combo Sports Rack carries Golf Clubs, Skis ... and more!
The rack is GREAT! No complaints. We can haul golf clubs, skis (snow
and water), snow board, Mother-in-law, anything! It is strong and worry
free. This particular design works much better for our situation, because
of our use of “team bags” for the skis. This is the only rack we have
found which can accommodate them, and yet is sturdy enough to inspire
confidence. Thanks for all your work, both before the sale and after.
- Bill Z.
We love it. Very easy to use. - Terry C.
Overall great product. - Gene N.
Bicycle Hitch Rack - SUV Bike Racks
Tandem Bicycle Rack
The rack arrived OK today. Good packaging, UPS took good care of it,
although as rugged as it is, I suspect it was to protect the other packages!
It fits the new Dodge Caravan and the tandem very well. I’ll have to take
a photo to send you with the tandem mounted on it.
. . For future tandem applications your idea
of a larger “hook” was a good one. I appreciate the quick service provided
on this order, and your follow-up keeping us posted as to your progress
while building it was excellent. I’ll be sure to recommend your product
to anyone who is looking for a rack. - Pat L.
4 Bicycle hitch Rack
When I saw the 4 bike Back Rack for the first time, I knew I had to return
the rack I had just purchased and buy a Back Rack. I did and I am so glad.
- Steve E.
It is a heck of a rack. Works great. Well built. Very heavy duty.
- Kim M.
I think it is GREAT! - Al T.
Combo Sports Racks
Article for Fit Life Magazine
. . .Back
Rack has designed a combo rack that is easy to use, has a greater
capacity, is more versatile, competitively priced, and better built
than any other rack I have yet to see. .
. .The Back Rack combo racks have floors. Loading skis and
boards is easy, just drop them and close the rack. The combo racks
have slam action locks. You don’t need a key to lock them. Just push
them shut and they lock automatically. I liked the weatherproof covers
on the locks. Frozen locks are not a concern. The floor also protects
your gear from flying debris while driving. The floor makes these
racks self standing. That means skis and boards can be stored in the
rack in the garage. . . .
Removing the safety pin and stepping on the Quick Release Pedal lets
the rack pivot back and down for easy rear cargo access. |
. . .The
644-combo rack is very impressive. It will carry 6 pairs of skis or
4 boards or 4 bikes. It will even carry combinations without having
to alter the rack. It will carry 2 bikes and 2 pairs of skis at the
same time, or 2 boards and 3 pair of skis. It doesn’t have any attachments.
Just loaded the gear and go. I would need a Suburban to use the 1084.
It will carry 10 pair of skis, 8 boards, or 4 bikes. .
. . These racks are the Humvees of the rack industry. The 644
weighing in at 67 lbs. and powder coated black looks more like a piece
of gym equipment than a ski/bike rack These racks are so strong that
Rick Lieberman, the owner of Back Rack, not only will stand behind
these racks, but he will stand on them. .
. . My husband lifted the rack and slide it in the receiver,
installed the locking hitch pin, and tightened the anti- rattle hitch
in a minute. The locking hitch pin is the only thing that doesn’t
come with the rack. |
Rick recommends the 1/2" inch Gorilla
Guard, available at RV supply stores. The part that goes in the trailer
hitch is cut on a compound angle and a long bolt goes through it.
When the bolt is tightened the two parts expand in the hitch wedging
it in solid. These racks don’t rattle. .
. . Back Rack only sells factory direct. Their racks with a
retail markup would sell for 30% to 50% more. The models 644 and 1084
priced at $445 and $495, with the current $100 off promotion
are a steal at these price points. Even at the full price you get
a lot of bang for the buck. .
. . To sweeten the deal, Back Rack guarantees every rack 30
days unconditionally and 1 year pairs and labor. .
. . Back Rack also makes great bike racks. Check Back Rack
out on the web at www. backrack.
net. . . . After
using the 644 I have to agree with Rick and say get a Back Rack Jack.
I give these racks 2 thumbs up.
